Introduction
Hello, and welcome!
My name is Sandra Alvarez, and I am a recently Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than five years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. As a proud first-generation Mexican American, I am deeply committed to serving the Latinx community and creating spaces where individuals and families feel truly understood and supported.

I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Palo Alto University, where I built a strong foundation in clinical practice and culturally responsive care. My therapeutic style is strength-based, person-centered, and collaborative—meaning I work alongside you, focusing on your unique strengths while offering compassion, patience, and understanding throughout the process.

I specialize in helping clients navigate a range of challenges, including:
-
Anxiety and depression
-
Trauma and its lasting impacts
-
Behavioral and emotional concerns
-
Family dynamics and conflict resolution
No matter what brings you to therapy, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where you can feel empowered to explore, heal, and grow.
