Introduction
Hola, and welcome!
Hi, I’m Azlin Martinez, a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapy in both English and Spanish. I earned my B.A. in Psychology from Biola University and my M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in Latino Family Studies and Trauma Studies from Pacific Oaks College.
I currently work full-time at Masada Homes as a Wraparound Therapist, supporting children, teens, and families through life’s challenges. My previous experience at Lake Avenue Counseling Center allowed me to work with individuals and couples across all stages of life.
I’m passionate about helping people find hope and healing during difficult times. My goal is to create a warm, safe space where clients feel supported and empowered to grow.
I enjoy working with all ages and couples and use a variety of approaches, including CBT, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and MAP. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, Autism, personality disorders, and self-harm/suicidal ideation.
I believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and understanding, and I strive to walk alongside my clients as they work toward growth and emotional well-being.
