Introduction
Hello, Hola! My name is Alejandra Moreno. I am a Bilingual Latina Therapist, fluent in Spanish and English, and proud to be serving the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding communities.

I am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #9556) registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. I earned a M.S. in Educational Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services with a concentration in School and Family-Based Counseling (SFBC) from the University of La Verne. With 6+ years of mental health experience, I was called to this profession because I enjoy helping humankind navigate challenges and daily stressors through advocacy, compassion, collaboration, and, most importantly, by honoring your story.

Together, we will work towards goals that are important to you. My clinical experience aligns with a person-centered approach to therapy. I have training in Trauma-Focused CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and other evidence-based clinical interventions that will improve your lifestyle.

My fundamental role as a therapist is to promote client safety, resiliency, and establish skills to guide your journey. Seeking counseling is a very empowering and healing process, and I am looking forward to meeting you soon!
